Scale-Up of Cellulosic Aligner Discs for Medical Application

We have the opportunity to engineer the next scale of production together with our customer Bottmedical (Basel, Switzerland). Bottmedical has developed a unique production process for the manufacture of natural aligner discs, the base for a dentist to create ones personalized dental aligner for most comfortable teeth corrections. The outstanding feature of such discs is the avoidance of plastic substances in contact with the teeth, hence no plastic particles are distributed into the organism whilst maintaining higher hygienic conditions and comfort compared to other products on the market.
It is a pleasure for MAURER to take part in this interesting project and to support on our core competency, the manufacture of manmade cellulosic products of any kind.
